After seeing the photographs, Miriam and I had the idea of concentrating on the colors that were always linked to the history of our University, these were the blue that represented the schools of North London, the red that represented the schools of City of London and then the junction of your colors that originated the purple that from 2002 gave rise to a single name, “London Metropolitan University”.
The photos we had access were almost all black and white, so we had the idea of applying colors, we did not want the photos to lose much of their originality, so we decided to only create a few lines and textures, just to play a little.
These images would then be used for both the website and some posters or even as an opening screen image when there were open days or any other event.
We also thought that some of the images would work very well as gifs, for social networks, something that also does not exist with respect to The Wash Houses, so it will be something that may come to be explored in the future.
